Debi Mazar, an American actress and TV personality informed her followers on her official Instagram and twitter account that she confirmed with the novel coronavirus. She is famous for her roles in Younger, Goodfellas, and Entourage. Mazar wrote that she is doing well. However, she said that around a month ago, she, her husband, and their two daughters faced an odd situation such as sore throat, low-grade fever, body aches, dry cough, headaches, and ears ringing.

She wrote that at first, she took as seasonal, but later she felt unusual. After two weeks on 15th March, she woke up with all the above symptoms with intense aches as well as 102.4 fever. Moreover, Mazar said that she thought of both common flu and coronavirus and asked a friend doctor, and she suggested her for COVID-19 test. The health authorities told her no because she did not meet the criteria, including not having the travel history or didn’t meet someone who recently tested positive for the virus.
Wrong Criteria for COVID-19 testing made doors for her socialization
Further, she wrote that due to the foolish criteria, she took the subway, gone to the grocery store, hair salon, gone to the theater, and gone to the pharmacy also. She said as a responsible mom, and she tried to prepare her family for any future lockdown by getting supplies like dry goods, bleach wipes, and extra food items. Keeping in view her health conditions, Mazar took the local private facility for coronavirus tests on 17th March in her neighborhood. The facility authorities told her to self-quarantine before the test outcome.
On the fifth day of the test, she found her results with COVID-19 positive. After receiving the result, at first, she felt anxiety and shock but then normal. Chef Gabriele Corcos, the Italian celebrity, is the husband of Debi Mazar. She, with her husband, co-hosted the cooking show “Extra Virgin” on a cooking channel. She wrote on her verified Insta account that her whole family is now going through a fourteen-day quarantine procedure. Instead, other family members have no symptoms.
