On Sunday, the White House announced that America is delivering instant help to India as the nation faces a huge rise in Coronavirus cases that’s crushing India’s healthcare system but supported vaccine manufacturing struggle of India. The United States won’t be allowed to go its own supply at present.

On Sunday, Jake Sullivan (National Security Adviser) talked via phone call to his Indian counterpart, Ajit Doval, and vowed to deploy available supplies and resources quickly, said a White House statement.

The statement further said that among other supplies, the United States is operating around the clock to deploy quick diagnostic Coronavirus testing kits, drug treatments, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Ventilators, and oxygen supplies.

Although American will not sending over its own COVID-19 vaccine supply, the White House described that it has recognized raw materials required for India’s production of its vaccine that will be quickly ‘made available for India.’

The United States is also going to fund an extensive expansion of vaccine manufacturers of India, intending to make one billion COVID-19 vaccine doses by the end of 2022.

The statement said that India and America would continue to fight the pandemic Coronavirus together. It further described that just as India delivered help to the U.S. when their hospitals were strained in the opening days of the pandemic, America is determined to assist India in its time of need.

The White House’s announcement appears when the Coronavirus outbreak in India continues to more severe. On Saturday, India broke the world record for the daily new number of COVID-19 cases, which is 349,691 infections in a single day.

The whole world has observed the disaster, and global health specialists have been criticizing America for not offering its AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to India.

Earlier this week, Forbes, a news agency, reported about the expert outcry that there are now tens of millions of unused vaccine doses of AstraZeneca to share with other struggling nations. Furthermore, the Biden administration has consistently said that they won’t share Coronavirus vaccine doses until there are sufficient for every American adult.

Earlier this week, on Twitter, the dean of the Brown University School of Public Health, Ashish Jha, said that they are sitting on thirty-five to forty million vaccine doses of AstraZeneca Americans will never Use.
