On Wednesday, the director of the CDC, Dr. Robert Redfield, told lawmakers that most of the Americans remain vulnerable to the COVID-19 infection.

He described that Coronavirus has spread all across the United States has different intensity at different places since it crossed American shores in January, infecting 15 percent to 20 percent population in many states and lower than one percent in other states. He continued that one state said around a quarter of its citizens have had COVID-19 sometime this year.

 CDC director said that the CDC is in the procedure of very big research that pursues to more exactly evaluate how widely this virus has spread across the country. Moreover, the frequency of the Coronavirus infection is significant because most of the epidemiologists believe infection usually conveys some immunity for Coronavirus for at least a few months.

Robert Redfield, at a Senate hearing conducted by the Committee on Education, Labor, Health, and Pensions, said that the preliminary conclusions in the first trial show that a majority of our country, above ninety percent of the population, remains vulnerable. Moreover, the majority of the United States people are still susceptible.

The United States Census Bureau and John Hopkins University compiled data that says this pandemic has surrounded above than 6.8 million people in the U.S., or randomly two percent of the total population of America.
