Popular Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor died at age of 67

Popular Bollywood superstar actor Rishi Kapoor embraced death at the age of 67 in the hospital. He was struggling for two years to escape from leukemia, one of his family members confirmed in the statement.

In 2018, he was diagnosed with cancer and came back to India and even treated in the New York last September and got death on Thursday morning.  The famous actor was recently admitted to the hospital in Mumbai, Reliance Industries Limited’s spokesperson confirmed.

Medical staff and the doctors of the hospital told that Rishi continuously entertained them till his last breath, according to a statement. Moreover, he maintained him as a cheerful person, and he was much determined to live throughout his two years of treatment not only in India but also in overseas areas such as New York. He kept his friends, family, films, and food on the main focus. Anyone who met Rishi Kapoor at that difficult time was wondered that how encourage is this person who didn’t allow his illness to get the better of him.

The statement also described that he was very thankful for the support and love of his fans that are all around the globe. After his passing, his fans would know that he should be remembered with a smile and not with tears.

The statement added that his well-wishers and fans should respect Indian lockdown and social distancing orders.

Rishi’s debut film

He belongs to a Kapoor family, which is consistently serving the Bollywood, and he made his debut film when he was a child in 1970. He took part in his father Raj Kapoor’s film know as Mera Naam Joker.

He grasped a lead role in a romantic film (Bobby) in 1973 through which he claimed Filmfare Award, which is almost equal to Oscars for the Best Actor.

Throughout his career in the film industry, he performed in above 100 films, and he acted both romantic and character roles.

Rishi had passed his life with his wife, who is also an actress, Neetu Singh, and two kids, and one of them is actor Ranbir Kapoor. Moreover, Rishi is also the relative (Uncle) of Kareena Kapoor-khan and Karisma Khan.

On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi, Indian Politician, took to twitter and posted that it had been a drastic week for the Indian film industry because two days ago, one of the legendary actors of the Bollywood, Irfan Khan, also died due to cancer.

Rishi was an excellent actor in the Indian film industry with a massive fan following without any discrimination of age group, and he will be missed greatly.
