Connecticut to relax Coronavirus restrictions on businesses

On Thursday, Governor Ned Lamont declared that Connecticut state is going to eliminate all capacity restrictions on particular businesses, which include offices, gyms, and worship houses, resuming 19th March. He is going further than other Democratic-led American states to reverse Coronavirus limitations even when public health regulators suggest governors not to reopen.

Libraries, retail businesses, restaurants, personal services, gyms, fitness centers, indoor recreation facilities, zoos, aquariums, museums, houses of worship, and offices will all have their capacity restrictions repealed.

There will be some limitations, such as restaurants are restricted to eight people per table, and movie theaters will be restricted to fifty percent capacity.
