On Friday, the Department of Defense described that last month, an American airstrike on a vehicle in the capital city of Afghanistan had taken around ten lives of civilians which includes 7 kids, and the car didn’t show any threatening behavior to the United States forces, confirming threats regarding a city drone attack executed in the chaotic last days of America’s 2-decade long battle in the country.
In the start, the US military described that a vehicle aimed at the end of August air attack was connected to the Islamic State’s associate in the country, an Islamic group named ISIS-K that showed the threat to withdrawal efforts at the airport in Kabul.
On Friday, in an afternoon news briefing, the head of American Central Command, Kenneth McKenzie, explained that the Pentagon has now said that it is doubtful the Afghan people who lost their lives in the airstrike linked to ISIS-K or threatened American activities.

Moreover, McKenzie continued that the military pointed at the vehicle it though ISIS-K had decided to assault the American military with a white-colored vehicle, Toyota Corolla, it tracked the vehicle at a compound apparently linked to ISIS-K, and it tracked the vehicle for several hours while crossed the capital city to give a ride to people and supplies.

In the start, the forces said that the attack was followed by great secondary bangs, which the military mentioned as proof the car was loaded with explosive material, but the head of American Central Command explained on Friday that it was a propane tank nearby suspected vehicle, not a bomb, might have fueled a post-strike.
On Friday, he confirmed that the airstrike was not swift, but after some time, he described that the US mission was held under great time pressure.
He further explained that this airstrike was executed in the serious belief that it would avoid a looming danger to their military and the people with the intention to leave Afghanistan at the Kabul airport, but it was a misjudged blunder, and he offers his sincere apology.
