Joe Biden (the President-elect) is structuring the aides that will help him in the White House, declaring on Tuesday that he is tapping 2 advisers for top roles for an extended period and also mentioned several other experts of his presidential campaign to senior spots.

Tuesday’s hiring announcement includes Mike Donilon, Joe Biden campaign’s chief strategist who played a top role in making his speeches and advertising when Biden took part in the 2020 presidential race, would be a senior advisor to Joe Biden. Moreover, another name revealed that is Steve Ricchetti, chairman of the Biden campaign and an expert of the Bill Clinton and Barack Obama White Houses, would be a counselor to Joe Biden.
Two already made appointments
Biden’s announcement arrives days after he tapped Ron Klain (veteran Democratic operative) as his chief of staff. Furthermore, there was also a news broke Monday of two appointments that included Jen O’Malley Dillon, who turned Biden’s campaign manager, who transformed his campaign into the largest fundraising juggernaut in history, is going to be Joe Biden’s deputy chief of staff.
Besides this, the former chairman of the CBC (Congressional Black Caucus) and Rep. of Louisiana, Cedric Richmond, is quitting from his House seat to become Biden’s senior advisor and the director of the White House Office of Public Engagement.
Joe Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, who has already been a leading aide to Kamala Harris (the Vice President-elect), is going to be the director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. She was also a veteran of Obama’s administration, where she served as a special assistant to President Obama and senior deputy director.
Joe Biden campaign’s general counsel, Dana Remus, who was once a clerk for Samuel Alito (Supreme Court Judge) and even a general counsel to Obamas’ personal office and Obama Foundation, holds the title of counsel to Joe Biden.
Joe Biden’s traveling chief of staff throughout the presidential campaign, Annie Tomasini, will be appointed as the director of Oval Office Operations, which is a gatekeeping position that again pushes her near to Joe Biden.
In a statement, on Tuesday’s hiring announcement, Klain described that the President-elect and Vice President-elect have a determined and urgent agenda for action. He continued that the staff they have already begun to structure will enable us to meet their country’s difficulties on day one.
