Brands, including Volkswagen, are making social distancing logos

A message from big brands to peoples to follow social-distancing and brands are even developing their latest logos to describe social-distancing on an international level.

Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, Audi, and McDonald’s are leading international corporations that are teaching the lesson of social distancing globally by redesigning their logons.

Douglas Sellers, executive creator director at Siegel+Gale, said CNN that the present situation of the world is not a joke, it is a serious issue.

Chief Ad-Age editor, Brian Braiker, said that its time for big brands to serve a meaningful and real service. He added that it’s time to understand the current situation and doing something useful. When people see brands like Coca-Cola and McDonald’s with their newly designed spacing logos, that hit a sour note.

McDonald’s Brazil spaced its iconic golden-colored arches, and it uploaded on its official Facebook page. Moreover, the ad agency has described, although there is a temporary detachment between the company and its customers due to the shutdown of several branches, the company always be together.


Currently, the company is playing an ad in which all the letters of its logo are spaced by the phrase that is “Staying apart is the best way to stay connected.” Coca-Cola is basically expressing its love and unity with customers through its new logo.

Volkswagen and Audi

Here come automotive companies that are Audi and Volkswagen changed their logos for their official social media accounts. In Audi, four combined rings are separated in a video describing to follow social distancing.

Similarly, Volkswagen even promoted their logo by separating V and W along with an inspirational phrase. Many other companies also uploaded their newly designed logos on social media accounts.
