On Monday, in a car accident, Anele Ngcongca, former South African international footballer, has passed away, said IPSS Medical Rescue service.
IPSS Medical Rescue, in a statement on its official website, described that it responded to a single automobile roll-over on the N2 highway near Mtunzini.

The statement says that on coming of IPSS advanced life support paramedics, they found a young man lying nearly thirty-meter from the wrecked car. The young man has no signs of life, and he was declared dead by paramedics.
IPSS Medical Rescue said that a lady driver was also stuck in the wreckage having sustained critical damages, but she was freed and she is currently in the hospital.
Anele Ngcongca was aged 33 and has been moved from Mamelodi Sundowns to AmaZulu on loan, both Premier Soccer League sides, the leading layer of South African soccer, offered a tribute to the defender after that incident.
Clubs showed condolences on his death
Both soccer clubs gave a joint statement that said AmaZulu FC and Mamelodi Sundowns FC offered their deepest sympathies to the Anele Ngcongca family, supporters, teammates, former clubs, and the wider soccer society as well as everyone who was touched by the life of that exceptional soccer ambassador.
Anele Ngcongcad, who helped the Sundowns club to get the victory of domestic treble in the previous season, demonstrated Bafana Bafana (the South African national team) with higher than fifty times, including the World Cup of 2010 on home land.
Danny Jordaan (South African Football Association President) said that this 2020 had been an awful year, socially, economically, and they have lost several of their beloved ones. He continued that Anele Ngcongca’s tragic death just sums up this terrible year.
Anele has served most of his career matches with Belgian side KRC Genk, for this he appeared 279 times. Moreover, the club published a statement that describes that they heard the sad news about Anele Ngcongca. The statement added that their thoughts are with his family and friends of their South African former player, RIP Anele.
