On Tuesday, Joe Biden, the United States President, moved to cut off the Russian administration’s Western financing and announced sanctions on two of Russia’s large banks close to the Russian military, saying that its arrangements in the post-Soviet country of Ukraine were a blatant violation of public international law.
President Biden said in the White House address that Russian President Putin’s orders Monday to deploy forces on the Eastern border of Ukraine into the Russian-backed regions of Donetsk and Luhansk was the starting of a Moscow’s incursion into Ukraine. Earlier in the day, Russian leader recognized these areas as ‘independent,’ no longer part of Ukrainian land. Mr. Biden deliberately asked for the Lord’s name does Vladimir Putin think to provide him the right to proclaim new so-called states on territory belonging to his neighbors.
Furthermore, the criticism emerged from several other American partners and international organizations, including from Antonio Guterres, the U.N. The U.S. leader also directed the repositioning of infantry soldiers and air support from across European nations near to the borders of Russia, as the region prepares for the potential clash. He added that more troops were positioned in the Baltic region, sending a distinctive message that America and its allies and partners will defend the whole of NATO territory.

In addition, the new troops’ deployments include a battalion of over eight hundred personnel stationing to the Baltics from Italy, twenty advanced ‘Apache’ attack helicopters, and eight Lockheed Martin F-35 fighter planes from Germany to the Baltic region. Moreover, another twelve AH-64 Apache helicopters are moved to Poland from Greece.
However, the U.S. President stressed that these are totally defending measures on their part, adding they’ve no planning of war with Russia. He said nobody should be fooled; nobody will be fooled by Mr. Vladimir’s intentions in positioning what he considered as peacekeeping troops into Ukraine.
In the meantime, the government says its powerful weapon in sanctions targeted at Moscow’s power players. Joe Biden said that his sanctions would detach the government of the Russian Federation from international financing and pledged that the Kremlin would pay the unduly high cost with more sanctions if the Russian military further invades into the one-time Soviet Republic.

Also, a senior government official said that the sanctions aim at two Russian banks close to the Kremlin, including The Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs, which holds over fifty billion dollars in assets.
